Regarding Hamza Shahbaz's unexpected success in the Punjab
Assembly, PTI Chairman Imran Khan urged the public to protest the deputy
speaker's decision tonight by taking to the streets.
The PTI chairman was speaking to the press following the
Punjab Assembly managed election in which Pervez Elahi lost to PML-N nominee
Hamza Shahbaz for the position of CM of Punjab. After PML-10 Q's votes were
disallowed by the deputy speaker, Hamza's win was assured.
The PTI leader expressed his dismay at the events that
occurred in the Punjab Assembly during the runoff election.
Additionally, the ex-prime minister revealed that he has
always hoped for the nation's democracy to move to a western-style democracy.
The cornerstone of democracy, he continued, is "morality," but it
also includes a fairness and accountability.
"A military does not exist in a democracy. The army is
not located in House; it is located elsewhere. Morality is the one thing that
Parliament possesses "the PTI leader stated.

The ex-prime minister said that Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain,

large bandits are not apprehended, the country will not advance. He continued by
saying that a foreign plot and the use of stolen funds brought down his
government's central administration first.
"We have fought with people frequently because they

Based on party chairman's request, PTI officials used their
Twitter accounts to call on all of its followers and employees to assemble
around key thoroughfares in Pakistan's largest cities in order to voice their
opposition.
PTI will Approach with SC
Asad Umar, the PTI secretary, had said on Twitter that the
PTI will submit a plea to the Supreme Court.
Farrukh Habib, the central secretary for communications for
PTI, said that the party received 186 votes in today's election. Nevertheless,
the deputy speaker refused the ten votes "unconstitutionally" despite
having an overwhelming majority.
He declared that PTI members and employees will fight over
"unconstitutional decision."
